I am so sick today... i have a serious cold+flu...bad isn't it...that's why i love to dot dot dot after everything sentence...well,i have a lot pf phlegm up my nose and throat...well, today's my second day of blogging...though i still feel wierd writing a blog, but i am getting so used to it now...
Have you ever wondered why everyone thinks white christmas seems to be always the perfect christmas? What are the odds of having one here?
Hehe...practically, almost everyone i know wants to have a white christmas...
"I'm dreaming of a white christmas...just like the ones we used to know..."
I was reading a blog on betting on the odds of white christmas earlier on, yet no one betted on the weather insteads...Its amusing that people all over the world is looking forward to having a snowing chrismas... the thought of throwing snowballs at your dearest friends and family always makes us warm at heart though its cold..especially when snowballs smash right at your face... the thought always lingers on for years..
"i want to spend a white christmas this year..i hope it'll snow!!" It'll never! Zero to zero are the odds..
Hello, we are living in singapore my dear friends... and its just a bit to the north of the equator!! of course, unless the earth does not spin on the axis anymore, north pole shall be lining directly at the equator and we shall be at the top instead... otherwise, you better hope for a meteor to crash onto earth and like the dinosaurs age, the dust shall block the sunlight from warming up. i think i am getting more and more far fetched... though its a nice thought anyway.. White Christmas has always been a fantasy. Through media and music, the influences and impact on us is always so strong that it became a dream and slowly, a reality... People spends thousands of dollars every year overseas just to have a snowy flaky white christmas.. they spend rolls of films to take of the same view over and over again... Was is that important that christmas must be white? Kweelin who is now studying in London must be expecting one... but she then told me, its only cold over there and not at all white!
"and its so boring during christmas because everyone spends it with their family...".. not friends though.. poor thing... But i guess my weetong and shiauling who are now in Michigan, US must be enjoying their preparation for white christmas... though it does not snow in sydney, carl and jayne are always expecting their dad to return back to sydney from singapore to spend a moment of christmas with them.. wow... it happens every year... shin in malaysia are so excited, yesterday night, she actually wished me
"merry christmas"... so funny.. now my cousins are all over the world, sending christmas cards are really expensives... not cheap at all.. well, tis the thought that counts though... ah hah.. back to white christmas... was Jesus born in snow?? i don't think so... so why do everyone wished to have a white christmas? i think i should write a song on
"i dreaming of a warm christmas.. just like the ones we always have...." haha.. that would be perfect for our weather... i don't mind raining too.. though it always spoils the mood.. oh ya.. since every year, many people look forward to countdown at orchard road, i better not wish for a rainy christmas... funny though, every year, why does people goes to orchard road and countdown with friends and strangers... i suppose its because of the weather too... i guess weather plays a big part on Christmas...
